Some questions about my Necromancer
I currently have a N/Mo, its a level 20 55hp, but i cant get the hang on the 55hp stuff so i want to change it to either (no55hp stuff, all full hp):
SS based build (alredy have spiteful spirit) MM Blood based build Which one of these would be best for completing the prophecies campaign? I can get skills from prophecies and factions ,but only the kainegg center in factions. Which ever one you choose could you possibly reccomend a build for me? Oh, and where can you get the best 15k armor for a necromancer? The only place i have seen it right now is granite citadel |

Out of curiosity, what do you run when you are not using your 55 farming build?

OK, let me rephrase the question. What did you use to get to level 20, before you started to only farm as a 55?

Gee...I wonder where all those unexperienced people come from...They're level 20! That must mean they're good and have at least some game knowledge!
Powerleveling ruined your game. Uninstall. Why? Because you didn't learn the game the way you're supposed to. Fighting through the jungle and desert without max level and max gear is probably the best way to learn the game. I'm sorry, but you royally screwed yourself. This game isn't like WoW or any other "only level matters" games. You LEARN the game by playing it, not by getting powerleveled. Delete the character and start a new one. sorry, but i have finsihed most of te game with 2 other characters, the reason i got run and powerleveled because i originally just wanted to make a 55hp necro, but i cant get the hang of that, so i want to try and complete the game as a necro. And why are you saying dont buy gold for $? i havent.
Well ive decided im gonna try MM, and yanman can just RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO off please. |

If you don't want to hear what people think then don't post! Yan Man made a valid point and does not deserve to be slated for it. Powerlevelling does absolutely nothing for your game skills.

What he's trying to say is, if you had played a necro through the game first, you would already know these basic answers.
That being said, a MM build is accepted in pretty much every area for the game, so you'd probably have a better time with that. As for the armor, since there's no difference other than looks, just find one you like the look of. Skill-wise, you should be okay, but I would recommend going through those first couple missions in Factions so you can cap Flesh Golem. It's a bit easier than any other MM friendly elite, and pretty much standard on most MM skillbars. |

Just another thing, you can never go wrong with blood magic. Beaten all three games using nothing but blood magic. Some n00bs will give you a bit of hell for it, but they aren't worth grouping with anyways. Playing through the earlier parts to find out which combo of blood magic skills work like the above posters have said will help out greatly.

I wouldnt necessarily delete the character but I would recomments going back to ascalon and progressing through the game in the normal manner. As to 55 necros, I have a MM which I completed phrophecies with (because he was my first char and has always been a MM, I dont like to experiment with him). So I created another necro which I switch between 55 SS and combination of Curses and Blood).
I would strongly agree with other posts that you need to progress through the game and learn how to use your charcter. |

2) Get new armor without any runes, since Runes are forcing you to have little health and you have no idea on how to play a necromancer (which is why you are asking for advice), and start off in Iron Mines (to get infused). 3) The builds you seek should be found in the Necromancer Build Thread. I suggest that you start experimenting with every single skill the Prophecies & Factions Necromancer has to offer (in other words, buy all skills and cap all elites). 4) Curse builds are great everywhere. MMing is good only if you have ample supply of corpses (Hells Precipice and Abadon's Mouth do not have enough corpses and burning will destroy what undead you do have). 5) 15K armor - Granite Citidel, Marhan's Grotto, Kurzick's Armory (I don't remember what the actual name of the city is), Luxon's Armory (I can't remember what city name that is), Imprial Palace (end game Factions for 15k Cantha armor). Marhan's Grotto is located south east of Thunderhead keep, sometimes an easy run, sometimes not. Builds are for those who know what skills to use and when to use them. Some builds can be used by some people, and some can't (you already know this by trying to 55). Try typical SS build, but don't start from the beginning, go from Iron Mines onward. Get your new un-runed armor and do the mission. Get infused and try your hand at experimenting on what curses you think work well. Hope this helps. |

I'd take the advice others have given, learn to play the game and playing certain builds first before you try 55'ing. |

AS stated previously, starting a new necro from scratch might be a good idea just to get a hang of the profession. As for builds, MM, SS are known builds that work, but they aren't the only ones out there, so a bit of experimenting with skills would be a good idea too. Also don't take for granted that a build will work everywhere, there's one key word to playing Gw easily: flexibility. Be ready to switch builds or alter your build as the situation requires it.
